KittyWeed® was founded in 2015 in the Santa Cruz, California living-room
of Keith Graves and Catherine Lewis.
They were watching their cats playing with some catnip, as they often did,
and both kept jokingly saying, “Ha! Ha! Look, they have their own kitty weed!!”
After many laughing sessions and saying kitty weed a few more times,
they suddenly looked at each other and simultaneously said,
"We should make our own catnip toy and call it a Big Fatty®!"
And, the rest is KittyWeed® history! MEOWZA!!
